NENA & PASADENA (NXP)

CSD BRANDS

Over a couple of wines in 2010, yet another Melbourne streetwear giant was born and they named it Nena & Pasadena. Curated by co founders of CSD Brands Paul and Ryan, NXP was formed to fuel future youth with inspiration and creativity.

As KSCY focused more on heavy metal and grunge inspired designs, NXP opened up a different avenue for design and creative direction. Adopting the tall tee aesthetic also, NXP has been able to play with more concepts whilst being picked up by competing retailers to it's sibling brand KSCY. It's probably one of the smartest tactics we've seen a brand use, as people started to choose either KSCY or NXP thinking they were competing against each other.

Picked up and promoted in its early days by Lance Franklin, this brand was propelled into the arms of the Victorian community efficiently.

NXP now prides itself on the brand it has become, showing low effort, high quality garments for men to enjoy. Moving in a more sustainable direction using recycled materials in new collections, you can also wear these pieces without guilt.

You can shop the range across most large retailers but Neverland is where NXP also calls home.

SILENT THEORY

STAGE II

Founded in 2007 was streetwear controversy - Kiss Chacey. The first thing most Aussies will say is "like the band" but it has no correlation. This brand became the talk of Melbourne's nightlife just after t-shirts were allowed to be worn into the club. Creating designs inspired by metal band merch KSCY has kept its promise of delivering grungey looks that people can't get enough of. Popular for their longline scoop or "tall" tshirts, KSCY has cemented itself as a brand that really needs no introduction.

Being the first of many names under the CSD brands catalogue, KSCY is yet to slow down or miss marks when keeping up with current and future trends. Moving in a more sustainable direction using recycled materials in new collections, you can wear these pieces without guilt.

You can shop the range across most large retailers but Neverland is where KSCY calls home.
